Working his way back from a debilitating bout of glandular fever, contracted 1998 and continuing into the year 2000, Ian is concentrating his considerable effort on accumulating world ranking ATP points which may then lead to his securing a win against his close friend and occasional practice partner, Andy Roddick. Ian's growing popularity amongst his playing peers and tennis fans alike means it surely cannot be long before the consistent attention of the LTA is attracted.
